Our Operatives are fully trained and up todate with the latest in Radon Barriers and Radon Mitigation and have full certificationwith all of the major Radon Barrier manufacturers and suppliers in order to ensure that your Radon Barriers are optimally installed and fully up to code.
We also design, supply and install all aspects of Radon Barrier, Methane Barrier, tanking and waterproofing systems.
There are several types of Radon Barrier available - from 1200 gauge Polythene Barriers, to heavier, reinforced Barriers. The Heavier, reinforced Barriers are highly recommended as the non-reinforced type can be easily pierced between the time the Barrier is fitted and the concrete has been poured. Any piercings in the barrier negate the purpose of fitting a Barrier.
With our experience in installing Radon Barriers, we can guarantee a perfectly installed Radon Barrier for your new building using the perfect materials to meet your needs. Our long relationship to our suppliers means we can provide and install the products required to fit your installation requirements at a cost-effective price, thus ensuring not only quality, but value for money.
From the installation of Radon Barriers and Radon Extraction systems in new builds, to the installation of extraction fans and sumps into existing builds as Radon Mitigation, we can cover all your needs to prevent Radon Gas from entering your home or business. Our Radon Mitigation works are second-to-none and include a unique fan-monitoring system not installed by any other company. This enables you to monitor the fact that your extraction system is 100% reliable and gives peace of mind
A Radon Barrier is a flexible sheet of material designed to prevent Radon Gas from entering a building (either a Home or a Workplace).
Current regulations stipulate that a Radon Barrier must be fitted into new-built buildings in at-risk areas.
The method primarily used to reduce Radon Gas build-up in the home/business is a vent pipe system and fan, which pulls Radon from beneath the building and vents it to the outside.
This method is also known as " Sub-slab depressurization", "Active soil depressurization", or "Soil suction". Generally indoor radon can be mitigated by sub-slab depressurization and exhausting such radon-laden air to the outdoors, away from windows and other building openings.
Waterproofing and tanking are two terms that are often used to describe treatments and solutions for water ingress and damp problems in structures below the ground.
From basements and cellars to underground car parks and new builds with earth retaining walls, there are a multitude of domestic and commercial uses for structural waterproofing and tanking.
